Our retreat weekend is being held at Sunsets At The Bay which is located within the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort in beautiful Port Stephens.  The resort is situated only 25 minutes from Newcastle Airport and about 2.5 hours north of Sydney.

The Pacific Blue Resort features “The Longest Pool in the Southern Hemisphere” which is a beautiful lagoon style pool with heated spa wading areas and numerous beach areas. Many of the luxurious apartments are situated on an island in the centre of the Resort.

The Resort offers several dining options, facilities including two floodlit tennis courts, gymnasium, hairdressing salon, Resort Retail shop, separate heated 25m lap-pool located in the Gym complex, guest laundry and “Body & Soul” a holistic Spa treatment facility offering an extensive menu of both facial and body treatments.

We have two styles of accommodation available with our weekend retreat package.

Twin share Studio Lagoon Apartments each overlooking the lagoon pool and containing a kitchenette.

For groups of four we are able to offer an upgrade to a two bedroom Duel Key Lagoon Apartment (pictured below). These apartments are located on the first floor and consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, (main bathroom with spa), full kitchen, lounge, dining room and balcony overlooking the lagoon pool. STRICTLY FOR GROUPS OF FOUR PEOPLE ONLY.

DINING CHOICES
Your breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon teas are included in your weekend retreat price. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Dinners aren’t included in your retreat weekend package price but Sunsets has a variety of dining options to choose from including Piccolos Italian Restaurant, Gourmet Buffet and Alfresco dining.

The Alfresco menu runs all day offering a great selection of meals including seafood, pizzas, burgers, salads and wraps. You can grab a bite to eat and dine by the pool. Sunsets At The Bay is located in the heart of Port Stephens, Salamander Bay and is an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Sydney and a 25 minute drive from Newcastle airport.

• For airport transfers there is a service called “The Shuttle Man”. You can contact them on (02)49845217 or mobile: 0411 562 345 or you can email theshuttleman@bigpond.com
• If catching a taxi from the airport, ensure that you choose a Nelson Bay taxi. Newcastle taxis travelling into the Port Stephens area will charge out of area rates which work out to be very expensive.
