Workshop Instructions

Registering: Generally our LIVE classes have a registration period. Once you have booked in and paid for your online workshop, you will be able to enter the virtual classroom immediately and print out the downloadable PDF supply list. You don't need to nominate which timeslot you are coming along to. Once you have booked in you will be able to access the classroom at any of the live timeslots.

Gathering your supplies: Your supply list will detail everything used in the class sample. You don't have to obtain and use EXACTLY the products used the samples. In fact, we encourage you to use up the supplies you already have on hand. However, for some workshops we will also make available for purchase a class kit to use.

You will have plenty of time to gather your supplies together before the LIVE part of the class.

The big day (or night!) You will receive email notification letting you know when the class has officially started. Head over to the classroom, log in and say hi! Your tutor will have uploaded the first step so you are now ready for action!

You will be able to also download a step by step instruction sheet which can be printed out for easy reference throughout the class. You can use this handout to create additional projects at a later date if desired.

Steps: each step will contain clear and concise instructions as well as accompanying photos. Each step will be uploaded by your tutor with enough time between each post for you to complete the step. HOWEVER, we encourage you to work at YOUR pace throughout the class.

Your classroom screen will be refreshed by your tutor automatically as each new step is uploaded. BUT you are able to, at any time throughout the class, click back to any of the steps.

Communicating: Our interactive classes mean you can chat with other participants and your tutor via an embedded chat screen. We also have a comments section beneath each step which you can use for communicating.

We encourage you to contribute as much or as little as you wish in our LIVE workshops. This is YOUR class. YOUR experience, and you can take as much from the class as you choose to. Some participants enjoy the interaction with other students as they work through the steps while others prefer to work quietly and only communicate a little, if at all. However you choose to approach the classes, our main aim is that you ENJOY and feel comfortable with your online workshop experience.
