Workshop Overview

With a few simple items such as a needle and thread, felt strips and a button or two, you are on your way to stitching Janelle's basic notebook. Janelle then kicks it up a notch and shares a selection of more detailed samples to delight and inspire.

Janelle says,"Well it's no secret that I love to stitch! And I really wanted a little stitched notebook I could throw into my handbag and carry with me for when inspiration strikes or for when I need to jot something down when I am out and about. And so my little SIMPLY STITCHED notebook was created.

I stitched my base sample entirely by hand but not being able to stop at one, I have made several others with a mix of felt, fabric, ric rac, lace, machine stitching and buttons - I love them all and now have one for every bag and every occasion!
