Workshop Overview
Do you remember an inn, Miranda? Do you remember an inn? This class came about after I found some photos on my desk of me as a kid in 1971 and 1982.
It prompted me to think of Year 8 in High School where we had to recite poetry in front of the entire school for Play Day. We were all bitterly disapointed that we weren't getting to perform in a play like everyone else but had to wear full school uniform and say poetry!
The one poem that has stuck in my head all this time is DO YOU REMEMBER AN INN MIRANDA? The words are burned permanently in my brain! Get a few of us together from that class and we could entertain you with a lively recital of that poem even today!
This workshop is all about pulling together FOUR photos from all different years.
They can be current photos, a year from your childhood or teenage years or even a photo of yourself now AND it doesn't have to be all about you..I have used three photos of me from 1971, 1977, 1982 and a photo from 2004 of my youngest daughter to mix it up a bit.
So join me and the girls as we share our memories and stories with you and together we will create a fun project using a mix of paint, fabric, chipboard, paper strips, paper napkins and lots of texture all tied together with a nifty fabric belt wrap!
This workshop has a BASIC STARTER KIT available here.
PLEASE NOTE: that you do NOT need to purchase a kit to participate in this workshop. The project has been designed to utilise supplies you may already have on hand.
